Yes i know. Finally after 2 months i am updating my blog.
Were you waiting for this? or was your patience gone?

Well.... for me that does not matter.

In the meantime (between my last post and now) some things have happened. For example moving from DK house (dorm) to the hostfamily. Also a made a few trips in the weekend.

I will start were i left off.

Dorm

At the dorm i had an amazing time with the other interntional students (who were also studying at Kudan or at another college, university) and Japanese people who were living there.
Everyday i made my dinner with my lovely housemate and neighbour (our rooms were next to each other) and had fun with several other residents when i met them. Also, every weekend there was at least 1 party (sometimes 2). This party was for a birthday of a certain person, farwell party or just because it is fun XD
So i had a great time and studying was welll sort of difficult when you meet so many nice people.

Hostfamily

This changed a bit after coming to the hostfamily (I began studying more) They even were so nice to pick me up by car (~25 minutes) as my stuff was heavy. I was so happy! By train i would take me 1 hour and 15 minutes or maybe more as i wont walk so fast with all those stuff....

Yeey the children still remembered me ^^ Or did the mother whisper my name in their ears while day were sleeping ?? XD

After arriving here i unpacked my stuff in the same room i was in before and felt like i never left this place. There were only small changes in the house so it was still familiar for me. One thing is that although i have an aircon the room did not warm as fast as the one in the dorm (so it was a bit cold. Luckely the hostfamily had an electricity blanket). Now spring is coming and it is getting a bit warmer. The Sakura blossoms are probably open this weekend or at the beginning of next week.

Trips to mount fuji

Thus in the meantime i went on 2 trips.
On one trip i went alone to see two friends which i met last time around Halloween which lives close to mount Fuji (Kawaguchiko lake) It was really seeing them again and i cannot thank Kazumi enough for her hostpitality. I had a wonderfull time with her, her family and Yukiko.
It was nice weather and i felt great after being in the city for 1 month and a half. Really relaxing.

Then i went again a few weeks ago with the hostfamily and 2 other students to Mount fuji (another area). We went to ceratin places. Like an openair museum in the style of an old japanese village and watching sakura, going to a wine factory and we (the students) wanted to hike at a certain place, but we could not do that when we arrived there. We were told that the path is not save as there was still laying to much snow (~30 ccm). So we enjoyed our stay with walking around were we could, taking pictures, talking to shop owners who were also bored and thats it.
BUT the dinner and breakfast at the ryokan (old style japanese hotel) were delicous!!! and there were so many small and different kind of dishes. We ate them at an old japanese style firewood place which was in the center of the table. Mmmmm...
Also, i liked the outside onsen in this ryokan as the water temperature was ~33 degrees and it was open air. The inside onsen was ~38 degrees and there was much steam. If felt i could not breath properly.
At night we went to the karaoke bar in the lobby of the ryokan. Sooo nice.

For the rest... i went this month (march) three times to an izakaya. This is a restaurant were you can have all you can (ofcourse alcohol included) for 2 or 3 hours and you can have 7-9 different kind of dishes to fill those 2 or 3 hours. It depends on the Izakaya.
We went there for several reasons (farwell party as well as birthday party). All three times were really fun and we took a lot of pictures. At one party ~250-300 pictures were taken XD
But you really dont want to see them.....
The only thing that i did not like of those partys was that they were during the week (wednesday or thursday. some people could not come on friday so that is why) Thus i had to go school the next day... sort of tiresome then i just took the first hour free and slept 1 hour longer. Still.... sleepy.

School

At school several people came and returned home. Sometimes it is hard to say goodbye and the next week when he/she wasnt there you could feel the hole that person left behind. Now there is a majority of French people in my class which is sorta fun. Next week this will most likely change as a few are leaving for their own country after the semester is over. Yes the first semester. It feels like the time is flying by... Probably i will stay a few months more if it feels this fast. I want to enjoy japan more!!!

HOWEVER i have next week a hurdle to overcome... The Big Test! So studying studying and studying is the keyword for the next few days and afcourse some walking for a fresh nose while enjoying the sakura.

Did i want to mention something else?? No not that i know of. Please ask me questions if you want to know a bit more about certain things then i will answer them in the comments or in the next post ;-)

    Gusta:

    Hoi Natassy,

    liefs mams
